About our Nation
Khazar is a Jewish nation located in the Appalachian Mountains. The nation is mostly located on the banks of an arterial river. We are governed by an eight-member Knesset, or parliament, along with the monarchy. The Knesset, led by a Prime Minister and Speaker lead the nation along with the reigning monarch. The reigning monarch is His Royal Majesty Prince Ephraim I. The Prime Minister is His Excellency Seth Nemerovski. The successive monarch is Her Royal Majesty Princess Julianna.
Our citizens are of many born nationalities, hold a variety of political and religious views, and contribute greatly to our society. It is designed as a homeland to Appalachian and Southern Jews, but all are welcome and all are equally protected in accordance to our laws. People of Jewish origin or faith are guaranteed expedited legal status and citizenship.
Territories of Khazar are in various different places throughout the North American continent. The capital is at Hillel. Jurisdictions include Hillel, Monongahela Territory, and Torantaanne Territory. Each jurisdiction has its own individual government.
The symbols of Khazar are mostly based on Israeli symbolism, due to the similar Jewish nature of the state. The flag is the same as the flag of Israel, but the Knesset is debating several changes. The national anthem is Hatikvah, or "the Hope."
